Weekend Visitor...

sam has been traveling a lot these past 2 months. He just got back yesterday from Atlanta at noon, and leaves tomorrow at 6 am for Florida. But we are glad to have him here for a couple days. We went out to dinner and then to the park and there happened to be a little carnival. Aaralyn got on some rides and she had a lot of fun. She is growing up!

Me and my sweet boy. He's so cute ;)

Dolphin Watch~

For Memorial weekend we went on the dolphin tour at Rudee Inlet with the Graff family. We got to see a lot of dolphins and it was really neat, they came right up to the boat. I tried to get pictures of them but was more successful at getting pictures of the water. The 1st and the 3rd pictures actually have fins and parts of the dolphins....see if you can spot them...

I was suprised at how close the boat drove by the oceanfront, and that the dolphins were there.

Our trip to Oregon

We had the opportunity to go to Oregon this last month. My grandpa had been very sick with cancer for a while. We decided to make the trip out so that we could say our goodbyes and be with family. We were lucky to make it a couple days before grandpa passed to spend some time with him. It was very hard to see him this way. I hadn't seen him for a year and the cancer had really taken hold on him. When I walked in the room to see him for the first time, I broke down. He didn't even look like grandpa. Even though this was a sad trip, we were able to have some good family time and see old friends as well.

Here is a picture of Aaralyn and her 2nd cousin Samantha. They were playing in the front yard of grandma's and grandpa's with their little beanie babie named "pinkie poo"

Everyone eating some Mexican food that Sam and I cooked up.

Grandpa's flowers were beautiful
There were a couple of really nice days we were able to take the kids to the park. Here is my mom with Aaralyn on the swings. Aaralyn loves her grandma.

Grandma Cherry met up with us at the park and kept Andre happy. We love her.
Another day we met up with my friend from high school, Jen, and her kids to play. This is her daughter Nevaeh with Aaralyn. They had a lot of fun.

Jen, her little boy Parker, Aaralyn and me
Jen, Bonnie and Brandy (friends from high school) came over for a little carne asada BBQ. It was so fun to see them. Brandy has two kids and so does Jen. We had some good laughs and ate some yummy food.
Here is Aaralyn with Nevaeh and Bailey (Brandy's daughter) playing together. They had so much fun running around the back yard.

The group.
Before we left, we drove up to Crater Lake with my mom. We were not expecting so much snow! And as you can see we were totally unprepared in shorts and flip flops and no jackets. It sure was pretty though!

Aaralyn had a lot of fun pestering Grandpa Paul. Here are some pictures of them playing and sleeping and having fun together.

Our trip back home....we were all pretty tired! If only the whole trip was this good with both of them sleeping ;) Traveling with 2 kids on the airplane is HARD! This is already Andre's second trip and we are headed back to Oregon the end of June for my brother's wedding. We must be CRAZY!
